Functions
  • Identify and assess strategic and potential suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and supply agreements.
  • Foster strong relationships with current suppliers.
  • Place and track purchase orders.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Verify that materials and components meet technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve supply-related issues.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with purchased materials and services.
  • Conduct cost analyses and devise strategies for cost reduction.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on supplier performance and procurement status.
  • Implement enhancements in procurement processes to boost efficiency.
  • Utilize inventory management systems and ERP software.
Requirements
  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering/science degrees. Master’s Degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • English at negotiation level is required . French is a plus.
  • Experience in water treatment plants valuable.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Availability for travel.
  • Proficiency in analyzing purchasing and cost data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
